Yu Mei Huang is a Taiwanese-born, London-based textile artist whose practice bridges ancestral craft and contemporary knit. Coming from an East Asian heritage, her works reflect a multicultural background and interweaves different mediums with subjects including textile materiality, the body and space, cultural mobility and displacement.
